Experience:
Since January 2011 - DE Harvey Builders - General Superintendent - New facilities for Deccan Properties. Project consists of adding a floor to an existing 50,000 sf building and building a 9 level parking garage across the street.

2007-thru 2010 - DE Harvey Builders - General Superintendent - New Research Institute for Methodist Hospital. First phase of project included approximately 15,000 sf of renovations involving 3 floors, in multiple phases and an abundance of night work. Second phase involved demolition of portion of existing building, and extensive rerouting of utilities, including primary power (4160 volt duct banks) emergency power, gas, water, sanitary and storm sewer, as well as twin 50" chilled water lines that had to remain active at all times. Third phase was a 450,000 sf, 12 story (plus basement) research facility including Cyclotron and associated hot cells for creation and processing of radio isotopes, Imaging including PET, SPECT, MRI, one entire floor dedicated to teaching and surgery training (with DiVinci Robotics), BSL-3, ABSL-3, Vivarium, teaching labs and cGMP as well as non-research facilities such as a 500 seat auditorium, offices and cafeteria expansion.

2005-2007 - 3D/International - Senior Superintendent, Renovations of the Houston Public Library (Main Campus) along with two outlying buildings for the Library Systems' Administrative Staff. Main Campus included 6 levels plus basement, extensive renovations involving multiple phases of the partially occupied facility. Renovations included demolition of several floors in the interior of the building to install foundations and a core for a new elevator wrapped by a decorative stair. Also included were complete renovations of two buildings approximately 6 miles from the main campus, to move staff as part of the phasing plan.

2003-2005 - Martin K. Eby Construction/Flintco Construction - Project Superintendent - Clark Clinic addition and renovations, Pedestrian Sky Bridge, Bates Road realignment and reconfiguration of entrance/exit to adjacent tenant's parking garage. New Addition included 30,000 sf 4 story, precast clad, steel structure tied to existing occupied building. Renovations were approximately 40,000 sf and involved multiple phases, some in extremely sterile environments. Sky Bridge was approximately 1/4 mile in long, steel truss structure, crossing 2 busy streets and tying 3 buildings together. Bates road was relocated about 200 feet and the entrance to Texas Medical Center's Parking Garage #2 was reconfigured to accommodate relocation of the road.

2002-2003 - Martin K. Eby Construction - Project Superintendent, Parking Garage 7, (approximately 1000 cars and 15,000 SF of Office Space) for the University of Texas at Austin. Project included 40,000 sf new offices for UT Parking and Transportation in the lower level of the garage.

2001-2002 - Martin K. Eby Construction - Project Superintendent, New section of Light Rail System, for Dallas Area Rapid Transit. Project extended approximately 2.5 miles from Plano, Texas into Richardson, Texas. Included were 4 railway stations and several bridges, one crossing a river.

2000-2001 - Martin K. Eby Construction - Project Superintendent, assisting with start-up and commissioning of several projects, as well as training of personnel.

1998-2000 - Brown & Root Building Company - General Superintendent, supervision of on-site Superintendents, performing additions and renovations to four Elementary Schools in Austin, TX.

1996-1998 - Brown & Root Building Company - Project Superintendent, New Southeast Prison for Drug Offenders, Chester, Pennsylvania. Project was 750,000 sf and included 2 six story buildings and 10 two and three story buildings, some constructed of steel and others load bearing masonry/precast plank. Security levels included Minimum, Medium and Admin Seg.

1995-1996 - Metric Constructors - Project Superintendent, New Mecklenburg County Intake Facility (approximately 700,000 SF) and Mecklenburg Work Release Facility (approximately 100,000 SF), Charlotte, North Carolina.

1995 - Metric Constructors - Project Superintendent/Project Manager, Greylyn Business Park new office buildings and tenant upfit, Charlotte, North Carolina.

1994-1995 - Metric Constructors - Project Superintendent/Project Manager, renovation of Presbyterian Hospital's Radiology Department (X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Administrative Areas, etc.), Charlotte, North Carolina.

1993-1994 - JA Jones Construction - Project Superintendent, Building 5000, New Medical Office Building (approximately 200,000 SF) and upfit for five tenants, Charlotte, North Carolina.

1992-1993 - Metric Constructors - Project Superintendent, New Distribution Hub for Roadway Package System (approximately 185,000 SF), Charlotte, North Carolina.

1991-1992 - Metric Constructors - Project Superintendent/Project Manager, new Administration Building addition to Orange Bakery (an Industrial Bakery), Huntersville, North Carolina.
